Nottingham Primary Academy pupils transformed more than 10,500 bottle tops into recycled plastic planters through Plastic Revolution, a hands-on learning programme exploring the value of plastic.

Future Makers intern Toby worked with workshop technician Janis to design and manufacture a recycled plastic sustainability award for Stone Soup Academy, developing practical skills and demonstrating the potential of plastic as a creative material.

To wrap up 2023, Future Makers successfully completed an exciting 8-week Product Design Accelerator Course in collaboration with Rory Dickens from Sustainable Design Studio.
